LTA Nationals

PLEASE NOTE - we now have sufficient recalls for both days.

FRIDAY 3 AND FRIDAY 10 APRIL

We have once again been asked to assist with the LTA National Finals at the National Tennis Centre, 100 Priory Lane, Roehampton, SW15 5JQ, by providing BBGs for the U16 and U18 finals on the dates above.  This is not a formal part of the BBG programme and as such you are not under assessment but it is an opportunity to practice in a 'real setting'.

This event is open to 'pending' Year 11 and above recalls only and the details are as follows:

• You must be available on either Friday 3 or Friday 10 April (please check your term dates); we will not take the same person for both days so that we can give the opportunity to more people
• Arrival at the NTC is 09:15am, with the first match taking place at 10:00am
• On each day, there will be two finals taking place back to back, so only one match in play at once
• We are looking for two teams per day
• Finish time will depend on the length of matches but will likely be after 1pm and maybe as late as 14:00-14:30, but you will be able to make a phone call as necessary
• The matches are due to take place outdoors unless the weather is poor.  Centres will therefore stand in position throughout the match
• You cannot wear your PRL uniform for this event, but the LTA will provide a T-shirt, we just ask that you wear black or navy blue shorts/skort and appropriate footwear (this could be your Babolat trainers)
• A packed lunch will be provided

If you wish to take part:

• Use the 'contact us' link to confirm your availability, stating clearly which day you wish to do.  Please do not put both days, as I will not pick the day for you and you could end up losing your spot
• Please also confirm your usual position (base or centre) though I essentially will know this myself
• Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and confirmed below with your initials and school
• Please do not expect an immediate response, as places go very quickly usually and the system will record the order of the responses
• You do not need to respond if you are not available
