New Applicants

REGISTRATION

• Where you have previously created an account on the BBG website, you must use that same account again and not create a new one
• If you have forgotten your User ID and / or password, please use the reminder or reset link as appropriate
• If you experience any difficulty, please use the 'contact us' link on the home page
• If you are rgeistering for the first time, once you complete the short process, you will be allocated a User ID
• New applicants must register by Thursday 31 October (18:00) at the latest

MODULES

• Having completed the registration process, you must then complete and pass modules 1-8 no later than Thursday 31 October (18:00)
• Modules do not need to be completed in one go, and you can take them as many times as you need to in order to achieve the pass mark

APPLICATION

• On completion of the modules, you will have access to the main application
• This section requires you to complete personal information such as address, medical and emergency information. 
• This is required should you make it into the training programme and therefore is captured in advance. Where you are unsuccessful, this information will ultimately be removed from the site
• As part of the application, you must upload a suitable photo which must meet the guidelines provided in order to be approved
• Please be aware, you only have 3 opportunities to get your photo correct, so are strongly advised to read the instructions so that you do not 'waste' any attempts.  Common errors that we see in this regard are shown below
• This section must be completed no later than Friday 15 November (18:00)

PHOTOS - COMMON ERRORS

• 1.  Too dark - please take the photo in natural not artificial light so that you do not get shadows/reflection.
• 2.  Too much white space above head.  The photo needs to fill the space.
• 3.  Too far away - the torso takes up too much of the image, it should be a head shot, with the slope of the shoulders only showing
• 4.  An ideal example!
