TEAMS AND COURT ALLOCATION
- The Qualifying provides an opportunity to mix some year groups and share experience in terms of the make-up of the teams
- These teams are not necessarily a reflection of Championships teams and you should not over think which team you are in or which court you have been assigned
- Whilst there is a show court at Qualifying (Court 1), no assumption should be made about your team assignment for Championships should you be on that court at Qualifying
- Unlike the Championships, at Qualifying for logistical ease, teams will go back and forth from one court only unless advised otherwise. Generally (although there may be some exceptions where a last minute court change takes place), your team number is your court allocation; i.e. Team 3A and Team 3B will rotate around Court 3
- As always, whatever your position or team, we are looking for your very best at all times
- Assessments are taking place throughout Qualifying
MATCH INFORMATION
- All matches are the best of three tie-break sets, with a tie break to 10 in the final set if the match reaches 6 all.
- The final round of the Men's competition, scheduled for Thursday will be the best of five sets
- Electronic line calling and match assistants will be on every court
- Ball changes will occur as normal after every 7, then 9 games etc thereafter
- There is no ball store as such, so you do not need to leave the court after a match is completed, just conduct the end of match procedure as normal
- Other on court matters regarding barrels, used ball bag, suspended play etc will be outlined at the morning briefing
ACCREDITATION
- Please do not forget your pass as you will be unable to access the site and will cause us additional work at the gate
- Remember, you should not have this around your neck whilst travelling to and from the grounds but put it on as you arrive and take it off after leaving the gate.
ABSENCE
- Finally, in the event of absence on any given day; please use the 'contact us' link or contact me directly on 07557 677997 via text.
- If you are unwell, please report the nature of your sickness/injury
- The phone number above should not be used for any other messages please.
Miss Goldson
We look forward to seeing you this week.
