STAGE

DETAILS

DEADLINE

1.  REGISTRATION AND MODULES

New applicants should register at www.aeltc.com/bbg.  If you have previously registered, you should not register again, but use your previous details.  If you have forgotten your username or password, please use the relevant link.  The BBG website opens on Tuesday 4 October at 09:00

Registration and modules 1-8 must be completed and passed by Monday 31 October at 18:00

2.  APPLICATION

Having completed the modules, you will then have access to the application form, where you must complete the relevant personal details required and upload an image which meets the guidelines.  Please note, you only have three attempts for your image to be approved, so you should read the instructions carefully and check the common errors here prior to uploading any images at all.  Once you upload an image, even if it is just a 'placeholder' it will be assumed it is an attempt and therefore checked.

New applicants must have completed the online application form and had the image approved not later than Friday 25 November at 18:00

3.  NOMINATION

Having completed your application, you are eligible to be nominated by your school representative to attend the selection trials in January.  Schools have a quota for nomination and so completion of applications is not a guarantee of attendance at the selection trials.  Schools also have the option to name 1-2 reserves depending on the size of their quota, who would only attend if a nominated candidate is injured or ill on the day of the trial.

Nominations must be made online by the school representative no later than Friday 2 December at 18:00

4. PERSONAL INFORMATION FORM

Nominated and reserve candidateswill be sent a hard copy of a personal information form and some terms and conditions via their school representative.  This form must be checked and signed in full* by the applicant, the parent/guardian and the school representative and returned directly to BBG Programme, AELTC, Church Road, Wimbledon, SW19 5AE or via the school representative.  The school representative can submit forms by hand at Gate 1D on Church Road, ensuring they are in an envelope marked clearly for the BBG programme.

* First name or initials only are not accepted as signatures and these forms will be returned

Forms must be returned no later than Tuesday 10 January 2023 at 18:00.  School representatives can see online where a form has been received and applicants will also have this facility this year.
